History and Decription of Troop 426
Prior Scoutmasters include Dave Roberts who was the Scoutmaster through the mid/late 1990's, with parent help
he re-organized the troop and the troop grew from nothing to many scouts, he is still with the troop today. Another
Scoutmaster is (Eagle Scout) Bill Kwolek who was Scoutmaster around 2001-2003, he has a son
who is an eagle scout from the troop, Bill is still with the troop today. Another prior Scoutmaster is
John Johnson who has been with the troop since the late 1990's and who still works very hard to keep the troop
better organized and running efficiently. He was scoutmaster from 2003-2006. Mr. Johnson has two Eagle
Scouts in the troop and will probably have one more Eagle Scout by 2007/08. When John became Scoutmaster
the troop kept growing and more community projects were finished.
Finnally our "Brand-New" scoutmaster, Gary Paul, has been with the troop for a little over three years.
Mr. Paul believes in structure and kind discipline. Mr. Paul believes in the "Patrol" method which will hopefully
make the troop more disciplined, organizied, and more helpful to the community. Mr. Paul has a son who will be an eagle
scout by 2008.
As the Troop keeps growing so does the number of great scoutmasters, and every additional scoutmaster
helps to better the troop as a whole.

Our Charter Organization
- Our Charter Organization is the Knights of Columbus of Manchester. They're not only our charter
organization but they also donate money for equipment, reserve the Pairsh center for scout functions/Breakfasts, and they
also help with our monthly Scout Family Breakfast. They have been our charter organization and helper since
1992.
